Bridge Engineer

Geographic Discipline Leader to join our clients Bridges & Structures team in Ohio! This is a remote position and you can be located anywhere in Ohio! 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.

• 10+ years of experience in bridge engineering is required; 7+ years of experience with preparing proposals, developing budgets, tracking budgets and the associated financial management skills necessary to run a team and monitor the performance of the business.

• Ohio PE license is required (or through reciprocity).

• Knowledgeable in best practices, trends, and other influences that affect CED and the environment in which we work, to maintain our position as an industry leader.

• Possess and demonstrate the ability to lead effectively and efficiently, plan, organize and manage procedures, protocols, and staff to achieve desired results.

• Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities: 

• Performs duties in support of the direction and vision of the overall discipline for their assigned geographic location. 

• Collaborate with other GDLs within the region 

• Active involvement with marketing and business development

• New business development and management/maintenance of existing clients. 

• Manage financial aspects of assigned team(s) and monitor the performance 

• Serve as a resource for project managers and staff

• Provide staff/managers with technical assistance and supervision 

Salary $138,000 to $160,000
